Coping with Anxiety - Progressive Muscle Relaxation

Whether you have anxiety or not, we ALL have stress at some point in our lives.

With stress comes tension in our bodies. Progressive Muscle Relaxation is a great way to relax your body, decrease tension, and distract your mind from whatever you were thinking or worrying about.

This skill can be helpful before or after a stressful event, before bed, or throughout the day to keep tension low. In addition to reducing stress and anxiety, this skill has also been proven to be helpful in improving sleep and providing pain relief.
